Marjan Koning - "Apple of my Eye"

I have rediscovered my craft during Covid and realised how much I loved working with glass.
In my younger days I made several traditional lamps and windows and over the years moved into mosaics also using mainly glass or mixed media. I use the copper foil method and have recently begun exploring mixing gemstones with glass in both my mosaic and glasswork.
My piece is inspired by an amazing American artist called Janis Jancik whom I discovered on Youtube of course. Now that I am semi retired it has given me the time to rediscover my passion and explore and develop it further much to my delight.
