I have always been a creative soul, combining my love of learning and pushing boundaries, I have found my happy place in the world of glass. I love the idea of making large sculptural pieces as well as smaller more intricate forms, always looking to nature for my inspiration as I strive to make unique representations of wonders we see in the world around us.
Glass is alive and has its own agenda, you may think you know what it will do but it will always surprise you and take you places you never dreamt of. I love experimenting and create all my own design elements which then get re-fired in the finished pieces. Glass is moody and changes with the light, it is reflective making you want to stare into its depths it is tactile inviting you to touch it and most of all it doesn’t fade with time. Within me is need to create and I find my tranquillity and inner expression emerges allowing the magic to flow.
